Full Local

How was everyone’s holidays? With changes to the climate in the US, my concern is what I am sending to plex. Is there an option to stop sending all data to plex services and disable the auth with the website? The goal / intention is to run everything locally / on my own network instead of relying on services from plex cloud.

You can take a look at this thread from the tips & tricks section.
From what I remember you won’t be able to operate Plex 100% offline all the time – but you can get pretty close.

Thanks for the quick reply, yeah that is just simply not a solution for me here. So to be clear, there is no way to be fully offline all the time? I ask before I swap to another provider.

I recommend you read the thread… that’ll clarify things a lot.

Yeah I was familiar with it, not really what I am asking though. Just to rephrase I want to stop sending data / information to plex cloud services. From that thread, that was just a method to go around the plex auth services.

Anyways, sounds like not possible. I will move myself over to jellyfin or whatever other provider will do what I need. You have a great day!

Let us know if you find something.
Not sure Jellyfin is the answer.

Yeah not sure, researching.
