Having issues with Futurama metadata loading on my Plex server correctly after season 1, by DVD Order. After that, the other seasons 2-5 that I have on DVD will not populate metadata correctly by DVD order.
I even tried following instructions/suggestions for naming schemes, found here: https://support.plex.tv/articles/naming-and-organizing-your-tv-show-files/
But that made zero difference.
I’ve moved files out, renamed things a whole bunch of different ways, moved files back in - yet I’m still presented with the same nonsensical metadata off TVDB and not the correct DVD Order.
Season 1 on DVD has 13 episodes - these all pull correctly.
Season 2 on DVD has 19 episodes - these do not pull correctly.
S02E01 on DVD = “I second that Emotion”, but the metadata for S01E10 “A Flight to Remember”
All my other TV shows follow the same file format:
…Videos\TV Shows[TV Show Name]\Season 1\01.mp4
This has worked for Family Guy, The Simpsons, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, The X-Files and so on. Every other TV Show has populated with metadata correctly, even the couple I had to select DVD Order on. Futurama won’t pull metadata correctly through TMDB or TVDB by DVD Order with any naming scheme I’ve tried.
Does anyone have Futurama metadata loading up correctly by DVD order? If so, how did you do it?
