I cannot seem to get season 6 of Futurama to match correctly. I have included a screenshot. I am using the DVD order from thetvdb. I tried re-adding, deleting the cache, redownloading metadata, optimizing library. I have no idea why it is messed up. The file are all named properly but there duplicates in Plex. Any ideas?
Is this the only season you are having problems with? What about the other 5 seasons?
As far as I can tell it’s the only season. I was wondering if it’s a TVDB issue but the Futurama entries are somewhat confusing. I’m still not sure though. My Plex shows duplicate titles and I don’t see that in TVDB. The DVDs are different than what was aired so it’s kind of a mess.
Whenever I get errors, I just number them according to what TVDB shows. I’ve only successfully used the DVD order a few times. I normally err on the side of air numeration.
50% of the time, it works EVERY time.

I’m not sure it’s a TVDB issue. My Plex is showing duplicate episodes where there aren’t any in TVDB:

I’m not sure how DVD order and Plex are but… do you need to organize the filenames by DVD order?
Anyone can step in if I’m wrong but should the names be something like this…

Looks like MPC identifies them as MKV

It appears that the DVD seasons are very different than the ‘aired’ seasons:
If the files are numbered like they appear on TheTVDB for DVD (in the screen shot, look at ‘DVD Season’ and ‘DVD Episode Number’ ), then OP has to switch Futurama to DVD order in Plex.
Then, ‘Refresh Metadata’ for the whole series/tv show.
So, based on your screenshot and the what you are saying. The episode Crimes of the Hot would be s04e08 in DVD order, right?
