I noticed that then using AirPlay on my iPhone gapless doesn’t seem to work on albums?
Or is it a setting I missed?
iPhone and Homepods (stereo) is up to date.

AirPlay or not, shouldn’t matter.
Might need more details, gapless should work fine (in some cases when transcoding to Opus apparently gapless isn’t 100% perfect).
When playing an album as such, the gaps betwen the tracks are retained just as they are in your files.
Ups, sorry! It was a problem with one specific album. Works fine with other albums.
