Gapless playback of MP3/ALAC/AAC do you want it?

Any album with tracks that bleed together makes me brace myself for the transition. As a regular user of music on plex, this feature is needed.

So let me get this straight.

You put in support for Sonos, but completely blow off the most basic and required request for gapless audio playback that every other media player has had for YEARS.

This is probably the ONE and only item that is preventing Plex from being the media service/player it claims to be and the ONE reason I still rely on playing my FLAC library using a third party app on my phone instead of Plex.

Albums to be played back as recorded w/o gaps insertedNothing ruins the mood like having the music interrupted by an abrupt stop (which triggers an audible relay in my receiver no less) followed by a 1 or 2 second silence and an abrupt resumption of the music. Many classical and progressive rock albums are recorded without gaps between movements or songs. I would like to be able to play these pieces as they were recorded on the CD when playing them from a hard drive.
