Player Version#: Plexamp 3.7.1 on Android
Audio is completely garbled after about 1 minute when plexamp is not the active application. Even if the phone is on the home screen (no other apps running), this issue occurs. The track continues to “play” but it’s unlistenable. As soon as plexamp is brought to the “front” (made active), the sound corrects itself and sounds great. This just started happening within the past 2 weeks sometime.

What device/OS version?
Try disabling aggressive battery saving options. Try AAudio in advanced settings (audio interface).
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active running Android 9.
It has worked perfectly since it was released and only just started acting this way.
It seems to have been resolved by removing Plexamp from the list of “Sleeping apps” (“These apps won’t run in the background”), but that list hasn’t changed for months (maybe years) and it just recently seemed to care… Maybe a code change (yours or Android) made it more temperamental?
