General issue with adding files to movie library (non legacy) on win server?

Server Version: 1.25.3.5409-f11334058

Dear all, I am using Plex on Windows (most recent version) in combination with rclone mount on gdrive. Since 5 days (yes there was a plex update) he is not adding new content from the corresponding directories. There are only some thousand folders, so not that much.

Error scanning directory, we’ll skip and continue: boost::filesystem::relative: System cannot find bla bla.

This only occurs on Movie-Library but not on TVSeriens which is working fine. I can access the directory with file explorer and on CLI, but Plex seems to have problem with scanner in Movie section.

Can i install an older version just in order to check if its working?

Cheers and thx

Same here 1.25.3.5409 on Windows using UNC network share:

Filesystem error (boost::filesystem::relative: Incorrect function: "\\?\UNC\DS918PLUS\Movies\movie.name.mkv", "\\?\UNC\DS918PLUS\Movies") during scanning: 1 in "\\?\UNC\DS918PLUS\Movies"

So what i found out:
using the old fashioned movie scanner legacy it works, but using the new movie scanner he is not reading the new folders.

Map the UNC path as a mapped network drive letter in windows.
Then point Plex to the mapped network drive.

thanks for your feedback, but this isnt related to my origin posting is it as I am not working with unc path.

I am having the exact same issue with rclone and the latest Plex Media Server version. The console complains about not being able to find the specified file, but when I go to open the file locally on my computer, it works fine.

I can also stream the movies to my devices so I know that Plex is able to access the files.

Just like you, the scanner works fine for TV Shows but it breaks for Movies and I can’t add any new movies because the scanner runs into that error and then stops.

Here are the errors from my console:

Filesystem error (boost::filesystem::relative: The system cannot find the file specified: "C:\Users\Eric\Drive\Movies\10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) - 4K.mkv", "C:\Users\Eric\Drive\Movies") during scanning: 2 in "C:\Users\Eric\Drive\Movies"
We got an error scanning in C:\Users\Eric\Drive\Movies
Scanning the location C:\Users\Eric\Drive\Movies did not complete
