Get the Serial Number from Apple TV

Hello everyone.
Is it possible to retrieve the serial number of a Apple TV in order to allow it or not to access the server?

There are several ways to prevent this. One (the easiest one) is to remove the cert from the ATV. But users that know the PlexConnect IP can put its address in ATV’s dns and load the cert.

There is a better method:

  1. Login PMS to MyPlex (so that it’s claimed)
  2. Remove all entries from List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth
  3. In Settings.cfg use GDM to discover PMS
    This will require that ATV’s can only access PMS if logged in to MyPlex.
