I have been having issues getting the Guide data to load since upgrading to the latest server version. I attempted to rescan the channels but kept getting this message “There was a problem saving channel mappings. Please try again.” so I decided to remove the DVR and do a fresh re-add.
Since trying to re-add the tuner I keep getting the same error during setup “There was a problem saving channel mappings. Please try again.”.
I was on my way out the door but I had a quick look at your logs. If you have 2 hdhomeruns and recently changed your ip range to 10.x.x.x then one of the hdhomeruns is stuck on 192.168.0.197 address. Reboot your HDHR’s and remove and recreate the tuners one more time. If that doesn’t work then we have to delete some rows from the database.
You still have an invalid entry for a tuner so next step is to remove it manually. Not sure how many channels you are trying to add but Plex has a resource limit around 350.
stop plex
open a command prompt
cd to the database directory
delete any tv.plex.providers.epg.cloud* files
make a copy of com.plexapp.plugins.library.db file
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\Plex SQLite.exe" com.plexapp.plugins.library.db "DELETE FROM 'media_provider_resources'"
Thanks for your assistance! I got everything working. I deleted the channels I didn’t want and everything worked great. Ironically it had worked fine in the past with all those channels mapped.
