This is my 3rd post and a last ditch effort. My plex is COMPLETELY down. I can’t watch it on anything other than my PC. If I can’t get it back up and running, I figure it’s just time to move to Kodi or something else. It’s just not worth the frustration and headaches.
I’ll send logs, whatever…I just want it working again. I have walked through all the help documents ad nauseum, with no love. Everything was fine until I updated…after the update…nothing worked.
Since you are using Windows 10 as your host are you sure a forced Windows Update did not perhaps enable the software firewall? Are you able to launch the local web interface?

I did find that the last Windows 10 update did reset several sections of my Firewall settings. Fortunately I had previously set up Windows to allow everything Plex needs and the reset of some settings did not impact my Plex server but it did have a negative impact on some of the tools I use for maintenance.
+++++++++++++++++++++++ Off Topic a bit +++++++++++++++++++
Windows 10 works well for me but it is a high maintenance OS and the updates often seem to screw with some settings on a regular basis. I am STRONGLY thinking about moving to a Linux server for Plex but I use DrivePool to pool my media drives. I have enough storage space to free up disks for the transition but have not, yet, found a way to pool multiple drives under Linux. I “may” ask in a separate thread but thought I would start here: What are pooling options under Linux and is Linux truly lower maintenance and what flavor are people running successfully? I do not want to use a separate network based server for my storage but I do have a quite powerful computer free (well nearly so) to have storage + Plex.
My files are all on USB drives and can be accessed without having DrivePool running at all. The drives are all NTFS formatted if that matters and the files are readable if the drives are moved to another computer.
BTW: My level of competence with Linux is about on a par with Windows but I have not actually used Linux for about two years.
I KNOW this needs its own thread but starting here is a good place in that I need to think more about the idea of migrating to Linux and I can start another after I get my thought process under control.
Earth to @SurlyITJesus are you calm enough now to troubleshoot? We wouldn’t want you to throw your TV out. I’m sure it’s something simple you may have overlooked.
After looking at your configuration, we worked on moving your network profile from public to private on Windows 10. You have to love all these changes MS makes with forced updates–without your consent. We also changed your public port from TCP/UDP to TCP only and moved it from 32400 to a random. PMS is not set to not try and use UPnP but what was manually specified. I hope this works to make your frustrations go away. Welcome to the Plex community forums!

I have attached logs in case it helps…
Just checking … I presume the server is now working and you have re-established remote access functionality. I have actually tried the https route to your server and got to the authentication page asking for user and password - so appear tom be ok.
Was it firewall issue ? Public network profile selected by windows 10 ?
A port forward needed to be put in place in the router?

His network profile was defaulted to public most likely due to MS forced update. The Windows firewall was on and the public profile did not have an exception for PMS. We cleaned up his port forwarding with manual entries and configured PMS not to try using UPnP.
