Getting "Not authorized" error when trying to access my server

Server Version#: plexmediaserver_1.40.2.8395-c67dce28e_amd64.deb

I am suddenly getting an “Not authorized” error when trying to access my server at home (running on Ubuntu 22.04).

I have tried multiple times to follow the steps described here: https://support.plex.tv/articles/204281528-why-am-i-locked-out-of-server-settings-and-how-do-i-get-in/

Unfortunately, as soon as I try to claim the server, I get sent back to the “Not authorized” error page.

Is there any other suggestion?

Are you and the server on the same subnet?

If not, it will always do this ( It blocks claiming if it sees you as ‘remote’ )
