I have access to three Plex servers, including my own.
Just installed my own Plex server again after few years of having it not on-line. Everything works fine until I move my devices, Apple TV, Ipad and Iphone and connect them via other networks than my home-network. When I do I get the message that I need “Remote Watch Pass” to stream from the server.
However I can stream from the other two servers that I have access to just fine on these devices, dosent matter which network I am comming from.
Is this a configartion issue or why is the different requirements from different servers like this? Will this go away if I buy “Remote Watch Pass”? Am cannot be certain since the other two work just fine.
I have made sure the “Remote access” is correctly enabled as stated in some thread on this forums but to no avail.
Server Version#: 4.152.0 [downgraded from latest version to test if this is a version issue]

Remote = on a different network (has nothing to do with physical location).
Server owner has a Plex Pass: Anyone can stream remotely from their server without a Remote Watch Pass or Plex Pass.
Server owner does not have a Plex Pass: No one can stream remotely, including server owner, without a Remote Watch Pass or Plex Pass.
The above applies to the “new experience” clients. Currently mobile devices and Roku devices.
The “old rules” still apply to other clients (Android TV, Smart TV, Plex Web, etc.) including Plexamp and Plex Photos. They do not need a Plex Pass / Remote Watch Pass to stream remotely from a server.

Seems like this “issue” is on the server side since I have access to three servers, including my own. The other two I stream fine from my iphone app but my own, which I just set up I get this message. Guess I need to buy a plex pass to stream my own videos outside my home network.
You need a Remote Watch Pass or Plex Pass.
