Cannot access my own library within my own network - Plex Remote Watch Pass necessary?

Server Version#: 1.42.2

Hi

Starting today, i get the message that i need watch pass to watch things on my own library. Within my own network. my qnap is right in front of me.

As far as i understood, watch pass is only necessary when
a) i am connecting remotly to my own server from a distant network
b) someone else wants access to my server

Both is not the case. I am only using it localy. And i am connecting via
https://app.plex.tv/desktop

Even if i start the app through my server
http://(servername):port/web/index.html#!/
I still get the error that i am not allowed to stream my own library media

I did not upgrade, nothing has changed within the last couple of days.

Is this a backend change, that forces me to pay if i want to continue using my local server? Or is this a bug?

See Client says it won't play from "remote server", although the server is local

Thx for your help. I tried severall things and found something:

It works on my TV
It works on my PC with the plex app
It does not work on my PC with any browser (IE, Chrome, Firefox)

So there is something telling all browser that my local access is remote. But i have no further idea what i can do. I would be happy for additional help.
I did not change any browser setting for weeks. No idea why the behaviour has changed.

A new setting in all major browsers. #7 in my linked list. Also check #11

I have done all that. Network is privat, local network access for browser is allowed. Even added plex as exception with full access. No changes at all. Thats my issue, i looked at all the points on your list, but did not find a solution.
