The windows11 desktop player still having the same problem
Hi,
my plex is running on windows 11 too
but when i started plex it showed the same error at first but then i pressed reload (F5) then it came out of the error.
Same here.
Both my Windows 11 desktop player and my Xiaomi MiBox S App player show the same message as of right now.
I found out that installing the old outdated Plex Media Player, works on Windows.
As a developer I’m really disappointed and amazed at the same time with Plex and its staff how they cant roll out a hotfix in an hour to all clients.
I don’t know, but I think you’re doing something wrong there…

@BigWheel hey, my Plex app on my Xiaomi streamer still crashes since the Discover update.
It had an update since, but it didn’t fix it.
Are you aware of this problem?
I am also experiencing this issue:
- Native Plex apps work without issue
- Plex via https://:32400 does not work
- Plex via latest Windows app 1.43.3.2951 does not work
I am having the same issue, all my libraries report:
"
Something went wrong
An unexpected error occurred.
"
This is happening on Nvidia Shield, Windows 11, Chrome browser, and android devices.
Is this being fixed, I cannot watch any of my content!?
