Plex Media Server: Version 4.158.0

I have x2 managed accounts under my Plex Server that were previously connected to the old server. I can see that now they are not connected to my active server. I have visibility of other accounts both managed and unmanaged but just not these x2 managed accounts.

I can’t seem to find a way to delete these accounts as they do not show up under “Managed Users”.

I’ve tried deleting them from the app on my TV as well as looked for a way on Plex Media Server App to get rid of them but with no luck.

Any help to figure this out would be much appreciated!

Thank you,

Jay

Stop and restart your server.
Reload the hosted web app in your web browser.
Look again at your Plex Home.
There should be 5 managed users in there.

So you meant for me to close the program and then reload the webapp?

It appears that I can open either the Plex Media Server or the the app. On the app and in the user accounts there doesn’t appear to be any way to delete the account. I am still getting only x3 users in the Plex Media Server under “manage library access” the other two “Ghost” accounts I am still not sure how to get rid of….

Is there somewhere else I can look for these accounts?

One of the accounts was made by a friend on her Plex app where it lets you add an account after putting in the 4 digit code. In fact at least 2 of them where made this way and the other is old. I thought maybe sending that person a new invite to reconnect the account to the new server might work?

These are all “managed” users. That means the owner of the Plex Home (i.e. you) has full control over them.
Please send me the names of the users which you don’t want to keep. I can delete them for you. You can use a Personal Message if you want.

“Jess” & “Hoxie Family” are the two that I can’t find anywhere in the control panel. If you could delete them for me that would be great.

Done. You might have to reload your Plex client.
