I just got a Chromecast with Android TV and have loved it thus far but when I have tried to watch movies that have multiple discs it stops playing after the first disc. Anyone have a fix?
Make sure you strictly follow Plex naming requirements for multi-part movies .
Even if you do so, be aware that not all Plex clients play nice with multi-part movies.
Your best bet is to join the files together. It is easy to do with MKVToolNix.
The purpose of this HowTo is to join videofiles, when a movie was ripped and split into two or more files.
(This happens usually with very long movies [i.e. LOTR] or more often back in the day when we had Video CD or DIVX CDs)
The ultimate goal is to have the movie back in one file, so there is no trouble in the various Plex clients which do not support multi-part files.
The tool used is MKVtoolnixGUI
it is freely available for all major PC operating systems.

That worked perfectly! I had been using the app on my Samsung Smart TV without issue so I was confused that there was an issue now. But the Beta fixed it! Thank you!
