Purchased a year of Plex Pass on GooglePlay, this was a mistake. I registered Plex with my main email, and my GooglePlay email is the same address. Plex in the browser doesn’t see my purchase, nor does the Android app, even though it can see my media servers and content. I tried many methods of logging in and out, but it still doesn’t show me as having premium. I thought, whatever I’ll just buy another subscription, but it gives me a strange error. So I have an annual subscription for a service I can’t use, and I can’t purchase it again. Don’t use GooglePlay, just a warning.
You didn’t buy a Plex Pass, but just a Remote Watch Pass.
These are not the same.

An RWP will not unlock the legacy mobile apps on iOS and Android mobile.
I meant remote pass. I bought an annual subscription on Google Play but it wouldn’t link to my account, even though I used the same email address.
If I tried to purchase the annual subscription again, it would give me an error, probably because I already had one, but strange that my account won’t link to that sub.
I tried monthly sub, and this worked. Weird. Well now I have an annual pass that I can’t refund or use, and the mobile app won’t let me purchase another yearly subscription. I’m guessing that I just can’t link Google Play and Plex very well.
I’m going to avoid using Google play in the future, but I kind of wish there were warnings about this sort of thing. I’ve never had any issues in many years of using Google Play for subscriptions so I’m inclined to believe this a problem with Plex and not Google.
