To start, sorry, but I can’t figure this one out.
I’ve been a Plex user for a while and while I’m not very technical I’ve been able figure most things out (some with help here), but not this problem.
So this weekend I shot video with my iPhone and GoPro and I created a new library specifically to share these files with a friend that wanted to edit them to create an instructional video. I have a similar library already setup and named “GoPro” for my personal videos and I set up the new library “Friend GoPro” the same way and added the new files. Plex recognizes ALL the .mov and .mp4 files in my original library “GoPro”, but will not identify anything in the new “Friend GoPro”??? The naming format is the same in both libraries (ie.GOPR0140.mov) and I have even copied one of the files from “GoPro” to “Friend GoPro” and it is seen in the original “GoPro” library, but the “Friend GoPro” library continues to say it is empty.
What am I doing wrong?
