Hi Volts.
Thanks for reply. LD_LIBRARY_PATH is set by rc.d script in my case (line was there already, default installation).
I am running PMS on FreeBSD (13.0-RELEASE-p1), no Jail, I do not have any plugins installed, PMS installed from ports collection. Issue is identical on two of my servers (one on LAN, second - physical machine colocated in datacenter). Logs attached. Logs.zip (845.8 KB)
I installed a FreeBSD 13 vm with default everything.
I changed the pkg src from Quarterly to Latest.
I did pkg install plexmediaserver.
It starts and works.
No emulate in the logs.
Since this is a 3rd-party binary port/pkg, I can’t imagine how using the port would make a difference.
Is yours a fresh install, or a previous system that has been upgraded?
Anything else that might be notable?
At a bit of a loss. I’d be curious if the Plex folks speak up about those messages. Part of me wonders if it’s a 3rd-party making requests to the Plex interface - I can trigger the same error if I send an HTTP request to the same URI.
Updating to 13.0-RELEASE-p2 now…
… no changes.
Nuking the pkg, fetching the ports tree now…
… no changes.
(Which makes sense, the results appear to be bit-identical.)
Hi @Volts, thanks for all the suggestions and help. Sorry for delay but I finally figured out what causes this error in PMS logs. Error only appears when I am trying to access https://plex.tv/web/tv/opera from my old Sony TV (KDL-48W605B) - there was a Plex app in Opera store for this Sony TV but now Opera store (it is actually Vewd App Store now - https://www.vewd.com/products-services/vewd-app-store/) is not available for my Sony TV so I was accessing this https://plex.tv/web/tv/opera link from browser on my tv and it has been working perfectly fine until last update.
I have actually upgraded my PMS to the latest ( 1.23.4.4712) version few days ago - but problem persists.
