Server Version#: Version 1.42.2.10156
Player Version#: latest Chrome, or AppleTV (when transcoding)
On a Linux Ubuntu/ProArt b500/RTX5000/25Gbe system, when playing ‘Thor Ragnarok,’ and HW transcoding and HW encoding enabled, HW/HW (decode/encode) starts out fine, but at some point in playback (in ~30s), HW/HW stops and transcode goes full CPU (and CPU goes from ~1% to ~70%).
If HW encoding is turned off, HW decode is never lost (and CPU stays at ~30% because it is encoding).
Turning HEVC options on/off seem to do nothing.
HELP. Is it possible to set CPU transcodes to zero?

I tried downgrading from an NVIDIA 590 to 535 driver version:

I have, more or less, duplicated the same behavior under the most recent PMS Win10 build using the exact same box. Except when HW transcode abruptly stops, it reverts to Direct Video Streaming. I can recreate the error using Thor Ragnarok at the same timestamp. I can’t yet recreate this behavior with other videos, but I suspect it’s not file-dependent.
