Grid view gone in Podcasts section

I only have ‘List’ view now in the podcasts section. I haven’t had much time to investigate, but I don’t think it’s server related. I first noticed it a couple of weeks ago on my phone (Galaxy S9+), but it was fine on my Galaxy Tab S6, which is what I use to listen to podcasts during the day. The Tab typically updates after my phone and, starting yesterday, I’m experiencing the same thing on my Tab.

The row up at the top with ‘Play,’ ‘Shuffle,’ ‘Download,’ ‘Grid/List View,’ and the ‘More Options’ icons is completely gone. I know of no other way to change the view. It’s just the Podcasts section and, in List view, you can’t see which podcasts have new episodes.

I’ve cleared cache, cleared data, as well as completely uninstalled and re-installed.

Yeah looks like this was working fine in 8.0 and is now broken in 8.1. We’ll look into it, thanks for reporting.

The same thing appears to be happening in the Downloads & Sync on Device section.

@ManuelPG Any new information on this? My major use case for plex is synching music to my mobile devices, so the missing play and shuffle buttons on the android client is a serious problem.

Can confirm this is happening for me. Any updates on this?

Everything is back to normal for me after an update to the Android app.
