I don’t have a “Channels” option in top left drop down menu in PMP, but have one when accessing the server via a web browser.
Correct. Only available Lon the web client currently.
But according to the announcement:
Plex Media Player v2.12.0 is now available to all macOS and Windows users.
NEW:
Desktop web-client updated to 3.53.6
and support page ( https://support.plex.tv/articles/225877387-program-guide/ )
This view requires Plex Media Server v1.13.2 and Plex Web App v3.53 or newer.
Are “Plex Web App” and “Desktop Web-Client” basically not the same (if not, why are they having the same version numbers?)
