I installed the Plex app for my son on his LG TV (WebOS) and signed him in…except I mistakenly used my account which is jacking up the “played” counters.
Once I invite him via email, how do I change the App to reflect a Guest account?

Do you mean home user?

If so, once you restart the app, you should get to user icons at on the start up screen: one is yours and one is your sons.
If you mean you’ve set him up as an independent user, then you start the app as you and sign out (from the top of the left nav, select the user icon, DON’T select switch user) and sign in with his account details:
Nope, not what I meant, but thanks. He does not live at home and has to externally connect to my server. When the App opened I expected it to prompt me for an account. Instead it popped up a four letter (digit?) code that I entered from my account to authorize him to use it. I was excited that it worked, not realizing at the time that the app thought I was the user, not somebody new with whom I was sharing my library.
Then it seems like he would follow the second of instructions; (logging out of your account and logging into his own); he’ll get prompted to link the Samsung to his Plex account.
Thanks…I don’t see that anywhere in your link. Since he has never accepted my invite I assume he has to create an account on his computer and then log into the TV?
