Guide data ends at 8pm every day

My guide data ends at 8pm ET every day. Starting at 8pm it just lists the channel name instead of actual program information. I do not have a Plex Pass. Is this an intentional limitation because I do not have a Plex Pass? I’m watching live OTA TV with a HD Homerun 4K Flex tuner.

Without a Plex Pass you will only get a limited amount of guide data, 14-15 days with it. You can do a manual refresh to pull down the next interval.

Are you or are you not using an XMLTV guide source. It’s quite important in this case.

I am not using an XMLTV guide source. I’m just using the “Local Broadcast Listings” EPG guide that is built into Plex. I tried doing a manual refresh many times and that doesn’t do anything. Starting at 8pm every channel in the guide is missing the program name and info.

Is your guide data correct up until the point where it costs off (programs showing in their correct timeslots)? Are your tuner (and channels/guide data) located in the same timezone as the server?

I ask these questions because the only time I’ve seen this type of issue has been when there’s been a mismatch in time between the EPG and the server.

Yes the guide data is correct all day and then ends at exactly 8pm. Then it somehow refreshes overnight, shows correct programming the next day, and then ends again at 8pm. It must be some kind of glitch with the EPG provider. Is there any way to actually contact someone at Plex?

I’d add the Live TV & DVR tag to your topic instead of just Roku.
