Hi Folks, I have Plex running on a QNAP NAS with 2 HDHomerun Extend DVRs without issues for a long time. Since 2 days back after upgrading to the latest Plex on QNAP 3.57.1 version, I started getting Guide is empty on the “CHANNELS” selection(Default) in Guide. I read all the old postings and tried everything but still no luck. This is what I tried and found so far
- Problem - on Guide (main plex page) - default is Channels and it shows “Guide is empty - lease verify your channel mappings and refresh the Guide”. If you select NEWS or DISCOVER etc from the drop down select - it does show the Show icons - just not for the Channels
Things I tried based on help in the forums (Thanks to the members) - Go to the DVR, rescan the channels on the 2 HD HOMERUN Extend units I have. Selected the channels I wanted and Refresh guide. The guide download downloads 3000+ listings without issues. However guide-channels on main page shows its empty
- Deleted both the DVR units, Added them back and repeated step 1 again it downloads 3000+ listings. However guide-channels on main page shows its empty
- On the main page in the GUIDE, if I select anything other than CHANNELS - like Discover, Sports, News etc - the guide icons show up!!!. Only the CHANNELS selection which is the default - says no guide - please map the channels.
- Stopped and restarted the NAS/Server - Same results
- All my recordings work fine - even though they dont show up on the guide!! Strange
So my guess is the Channel mapping to the guide is all messed up so Guide cannot be shown…
Is there anything I can do to get the Channels guide to work? Any suggestions appreciated
THanks
Andi
