Plex DVR unable to get Channel Guide

I deleted the old DVR and attempted to re-add it as instructed.

When I do this I get all the way to where it starts looking for the guide. Then it just sits for hours and never moves off 0%, so I can never successfully add this DVR.

I have the same problem. This makes the DVR useless. I’m using Version 1.21.1.3876 and HDHomeRun in the US.

Same here using HDHomerun Dual. Initially ran scan with no antenna connected (duh), now will not scan again. DVR setup recognizes tuner and says ā€˜Awaiting channel scan’, the Scan Channels button does not respond. Reboot - same.
Checked firmware and ran HD setup, their channel scan works and can view channels with their software. When previously installed it worked fine.
Do I need to clear some logged errors?

I have no idea what happened, but all of a sudden my guide downloaded when I tried to set the DVR up again.

Same issue using two HD HomeRun EXTEND devices. NO issues before removing DVRs and trying to re-add.

Just tried again today. Can’t get past the page where it asks for my postal code.

I am having the same issue, I am in the USA, select English and put in my zip code of 06103 and the continue button does not light up. Help!

I have the same problem. My guide stop populating 1/19/21. The guide says it is empty.

Same problem. My guide is blank. Nothing has recorded since 01-20-21. I HAVE CHANGED NOTHING!! I tried to refresh the guide with no success. If this topic is 12 days old why hasn’t a Plex Admin chimed in to give us some advice? Why do you keep making untested changes that break our setups? We are your paying clients. Quit screwing us over! Don’t send me an e-mail in three months asking me to send you my logs either! If you want my logs ask for them NOW!

Just noticed this issue this morning.

Under DVR Schedule, I noticed this: ā€œGuide data for this DVR will no longer be updated after January 1, 2021. Please delete and recreate a new DVR and reschedule your recordings to ensure continued coverage.ā€

I live in Copenhagen Denmark.
My TV provider is ā€œParknet.dkā€

After Plex have changed EPG data at the january 1 i have lost 1/3 of the channel EPG.

I have deleted the tuner as Plex described and scanned all channels again, but i cant choose Parknet.dk as EPG provider.
Its posible to choose other Danish providers, but Parknet have channels other providers do not.
Therefore i cant precent all the channels, as Plex dont accept to show channels without EPG signal.

The technical detalis of Parknet.dk:

Frequence: 450 Mhz

When will Plex make it possible for an ā€œAdvancedā€ feature, so that we who have the EPG signal together with the TV signal, can just grab the EPG, same as it can in other tuner apps.

Experiencing the same issue with the guide not auto or manually updating for about a week now. Plex server on QNAP V1.21.2.3918/Plex Media Player on Win10 V4.29.2

I’m hitting this issue as well, I had a functioning setup (already recreated previously as instructed) but unplugged my tuner for a few days. When I set it back up after moving tuner/antenna to a new location, I did some Channel Scans and noticed it wasn’t mapping the channels to the guide data (offering me to manually map each channel instead). I figured it’d be faster if it mapped correctly on its own, so deleted my fully-functioning DVR and tried to recreate it. Now, creating a DVR fails at the very last step (finding the best guide for your channels) at 0% saying, ā€œThere was a problem mapping channelsā€.

I’ve tried power cycling my NAS and that didn’t help, never experienced an issue before. Behaves the same if I re-scan during setup or not. Interestingly, it’s not auto-filling my country during setup – not sure if that’s related.

Thanks for posting this. I don’t know why Plex didn’t notify its PAYING customers. I missed some scheduled recordings, and I’m not happy with that. SMH…

Plex notified via email on 12/23 and 1/8, but an in-app notification or even a migration would’ve been nice.

I haven’t received any emails from Plex since 2017, other than forum notifications (this forum). I checked ā€œSpamā€ as well.
