Guide is not loading, thinking it has something to do with the time change?

All of a sudden guide is not loading. Only a couple hours away from the time change. Is this the possible culprit? Using Windows server with Android clients.

Same issue here! No guide…no recording schedule on my ShieldTV with Windows server.

This happened last year as well during the time change. Hopefully once the time changes complete it’ll be fixed.

Same here… Guide worked earlier today, then a show I was watching cut out, and I haven’t been able to watch anything from antenna tv since.

At first I thought it was because I finally let the Firestick app update to give the new UI a fair chance (a whole other topic!)… But when I rolled back to 8.5.2, I still had the same problem.

I can’t even watch from the webapp.

Rebooted the sever, no effect. Everything works perfect in Jellyfin, so I know its not my equipment…

The same is happening to me too. I have two Amazon Fire sticks and guide data along with Plex Live TV won’t show up at all. However it does work fine on the Plex Mac Desktop app, iPhone app, and Roku. Thanks for an incredible service. I hope it works in full again soon.

Daylight Savings Time, the gift that keeps on giving.

I wouldn’t blame DST. Its been around forever, and nobody else’s live tv/guide service seems to be crashing and burning. Seems like a programming error. At worst, our guides should be off by an hour. There’s no reason a time change should crash the guide completely and prevent streaming of live TV channels via Plex.

You’d think that if the exact some thing happened the last time the time changed, the developers would have fixed it before the next one.

You’d think so, right? So it’s probably just sheer coincidence that this exact same thing happened at the last time change.

EDIT: Probably also just a coincidence that this exact same thing happened to someone in Ireland when DST ended for them last weekend.

Same issue, removed and reinstalled the syntonizer not working, changed epg… nothign. how to come out of this? I am using plex on ubuntu64 on raspbian connected to XTEVE

Given no reply from the Plex Team on this issue I guess we can expect the same bug happening again the next time change… I have no idea how we can get any acknowledge from them…

Guys, no fix yet?
I still have this issue

That’s odd, they did fix it. Try re adding the tuners.

Thanks @JasonsPlex, though I’ve re added it serveral times and tried on a Mi Box and a Sony Bravia (Plex for Android TV 8.9.2.21619), if that helps. I’m on 1.20.4.3517

It’s been a few weeks now but came across this post now and was wondering whether there is a workaround or something.

Last thought would be. Try pushing your server to 1.20.5.xxx

I don’t dare to do that .
I hadn’t updated in more than a year now but since this happened I updated to 1.20.4.3517.
Plex stable releases are too unstable, let alone those beta ones.

Can’t argue with you on that lol. Beta testers and public users are both the same now.

I’ve given up on using Plex for live TV at all… The time change issue merely cemented my decision. Plex is the only program where I had the time change issue… Plex is the only program where I can only watch live tv for about 10 minutes before it freezes.

I switched to Jellyfin for live TV and DVR and haven’t looked back. Sucks having to use two different apps, but c’est la vie.

Maybe once I start seeing a bunch of forum posts saying live TV is fixed on Plex, I’ll give it another shot. It’ll be interesting to see if the Guide issue is fixed by the next time change.

This is still broken for me too. Qnap server with the latest server QPKG. Extremely frustrating.

Still broken.

Image form iOS posted as well. I’ll take another photo from shield client later.

Anyone from Plex reading this?

I updated to the latest PMS version 1.20.5.3600 and now the guide loads on all clients, Android TV including.
The only problem is that now Plex fails to load the streams most of the time.

So the situation for me is: either all my users struggle to open their Live TV streams if I leave PMS version 1.20.5 or I go back to 1.18.1 and most clients play well Live TV but a couple of them, those with Android TV, are left out without Live TV.

I also tried Jellyfin and Emby and they play really smooth
