Player Version#: 4.63.0
I recently migrated my Plex install from OMV to Fedora Server. The install ran fine on OMV, but an attempt to upgrade the server from OMV 4 to OMV 5 went sideways and I had to back my array up and install an OS fresh. I’d been unhappy with the way OMV obfuscates certain settings behind their own config files, so I decided to just go with a standard flavor of Linux. I got the databases migrated over without incident but some of my media isn’t playing the web player. Everything plays fine in Plex Media Player, on my TCL Roku TV, and on my iPhone.
When I attempt to play anything in the web player, I get the following error : “[Transcoder] Unknown decoder ‘h264’”. My codec directory contains two files. One named, “b222e26-4019-linx-x86_64” and “EasyAudioEncoder-1529-linx-x86_64.” I checked my transcode directory and, while the directories inside it are empty, it did create the folders and Plex has read/write permissions. I am unsure how to proceed with troubleshooting this. Any help would be appreciated. Attached are my logs.Plex Media Server Logs_2021-09-21_09-06-45.zip (3.0 MB)
