I want to reencode all my files to x265, but with the Xbox one S app PMS will transcode every stream as i need subtitles. Is a fix for that comming, is there a workaround or do i need to find another player?
just use VLC, heaps better than plex
VLC will find your plex server, and allow you to find videos (folder view)
Just tried VLC, dosent show posters or anything. I want to somehow get all my files to direct play with subtitles.
Now that the new update has launched, soft subtitle support has been enabled for text based subtitles (ie SRT’s) but Image based subtitles (IE PGS or VOBSUBS) will still require a transcode.
