H4 (Not Supported) error when trying to play H.265 7.1ch content

I have some H.265 7.1ch videos that that throw a h4 (Not Supported) error when trying to play them on a Chromecast (3rd generation, 2018).

Plex is running on a Windows 10 system containing a Xeon E3-1270 v1 (released 2011) CPU.

They run fine when casting to a Chromecast Ultra.

Any ideas?
