Had to delete my server, want to recover watched data

I had to reset windows and by doing so it deleted all my applications including plex server. I now have downloaded a new server, connected to the same hard drive, but all my watched data, as well as date files were added is now gone. My old server still shows up as unavailable. I just want to be able to see what I have and have not watched and see when i added my files. Is it possible to recover this, or update the old server somehow? any help is appreciated

unless you have a backup of your old plex database, your play history is gone.

you can delete the old server from your account list @ https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/devices/pms (this has nothing to do with your play history/status)

Well thats no fun. Is there way to easily back it up for future reference?

Plex backs up the database automatically by default but unless you change the default path, it won’t help if the plex drive crashes.
