Hardware Accelerated Transcoding Option Not Appearing

Hello - have upgraded to Plex Pass several days ago, but am still not seeing option ‘Use hardware acceleration when available’ under [Server] > Settings > Transcoder. Running PlexMediaServer on Synology DS220+ - server is claimed by the account with the Plex Pass. Running directly on the server, not in a container. Would anyone know what could be the case here? I would have thought all criteria were fulfilled. Thanks in advance!

You might be experiencing the same issues people are running into that are documented in this thread.

I suggest you drop down to v1.43.0 or try out the test build located in this post.

@FDM80 That problem is specific to systems with Arrow Lake CPUs.

@r_w7 Stop Plex Media Server. Wait 2-3 minutes. Start Plex Media Server. That should force it to check in with plex.tv and verify you have a Plex Pass.

If it does not work, pull and post a set of server log files.

Thanks both - turned out to be DNS issues on my end which I have since resolved. The option is now appearing as expected. Appreciate the assistance nonetheless.
