Hardware acceleration not working

I used hardware acceleration in the past but I didn’t had a subscription for the past ~1-3 months.
When I re subscribed and re enabled hardware acceleration my videos started looking like this:

(after fast forwarding my videos a bit to make sure i’m not playing a cached part I couldn’t find a single one that worked with ha)

The server has an Intel Celeron J3455 CPU which has an Intel HD Graphics 500 gpu built in, and I am using that for hardware acceleration.

the error occures in any player (tested: android, web, chromecast )

Server Version#: 1.18.4.2171 (ubuntu 18.04)
Player Version#: 4.20.1

A known problem which Engineering is working on now.
There are many posts about this in the forum already.

Remove the /usr/lib/plexmediaserver/lib/dri/iHD_drv_video.so file and restart.
It will return you to the i965 driver (with its known issues but better than nothing).
