A question for the Plex developers really. Is there an intention to support hardware transcoding on the HS-453DX?
Looking at the processors specs, I see no reason it shouldn’t run as is now.
I don’t restrict the processor type nor do I limit it to certain models like Synology requires.
I have not tested the unit yet. Once I or QNAP does for me, I will be able to add it to the NAS Compatibility List.
