Hardware transcoding on Qnap TVS-1282T3

Hi,
I have a Qnap TVS-1282T3 with an i7-64GB-GTX1050Ti. As per Qnap helpdesk, I can only use GPU in Virtualisation Mode. Is there any way around for Plex Hardware transcoding?

You don’t need the GTX-1050. The i7-7700 does everything you need. I have a TVS-1282-i7-32GB without GPU. Never need a GPU card.

You will run out of CPU doing subtitles or audio long before you run out of ASIC performance.
