Ok… I have read as much as I could find, spent hours trying different configurations and I cannot get it to do what I would like.
I would like the remote to do basic functions along with changing the aspect ratio. If I map the buttons I can get most of the functions to work.
What I have is the harmony ultimate, but not with the hub. I am using my old PC remote control (generic). I tried to do what some people talked about and that was use eventghost to get the commands that you want. The problem is that eventghost wants you to update the pc remote controller driver, when I do that it won’t even accept the commands that I manually linked with both of the remotes.
Anyone with knowledge of this know what I can do? Right now I would be ok with just being able to change aspect ration (z) on the keyboard.

Since you are using a PC, uninstall any drivers you have added for the IR Receiver (let Windows install the correct driver).
Then in your Harmony config, add a device called Media Center PC. You will need to configure the activity etc. and the onscreen buttons to your liking and check that you map the physical buttons the way you want them, but otherwise, it should be ready to go.
I’m not sure you can actually change the aspect ratio etc… in PMP or the Windows Plex app.
For RasPlex/OpenPHT, I have the Media Center PC menu button mapped to the menu button on the Harmony. When playing a video, hit the menu button on the Harmony, that should bring up the play bar or simply hit pause. Then right direction button until you get to the video settings (TV icon far right), OK to select it, then up and down etc. to get to the pixel ratio etc. Hit return to exit.
