Is plexdash working for anyone on PlexMediaServer-1.40.2.8273 ?
I getting this when trying to view history…
Will check server dashboard and logs later when I’m back at my pc.

Interesting, looking at play history in plexamp is showing the music play history. However, when I scroll down through the history the results gets all messed up.

Outside of what I reported with plexdash there is definitely something messed up with play history. Just go to the dashboard, filter all libraries, all users, all time and start scrolling but KEEP an eye on the played dates. You will notice the dates start to get all messed up jumping backwards and forward in time. Take this screenshot as an example …
If you look closely you will see the first 9 entries are all correct with dates going backwards in time from 16:27 Mar 21, 2024 → 15:49 Mar 21, 2024. Then the next one jumps forward to 17:34 Mar 22, 2024.
Looks like a bad build and yet again I’m glad I have a backup which I’m now going to revert back to.

BTW, the date jumping around issue with the dashboard seems to be limited to music play history. However, plexdash is completely broken.

I’ll also add. Previously I reported this issue Zombie blank Play History reported from Artists who are listed in Various Artist albums where empty (zombie) play history would be shown in the list for tracks which exists in multiple albums.
This is not happening now with this latest update. So maybe some fix the team is working on related to id history queries in the dashboard is having an effect.

@anon5074910 there is an update to the Beta with the following change:
This doesn’t appear to fix Dash but it does address the history issue you reported. Would you mind further validating the fix on your side? We did use your DB to confirm the fix but just wanting to make sure.

Sure. The build is still not available in my region yet (cloudflare cache hasn’t updated yet). I’ll test it out in a few hours when it arrives.

Confirmed the date jumping history issue is now fixed, thanks for the quick turnaround. Very happy the db I supplied helped in identifying the problem.
Also confirmed plexdash does not work but as you say you kinda expected that

Why does the history no longer show anymore on the Plex Dash app? It started a few weeks ago ago not showing anything when I click the history button. It says “to seek nothing is bliss”
