I used to be able to play movies from my server to my iPhone. The same movie I played two weeks ago now I get something went wrong error
Media requires xxxkbs only 720kbs available not enough cpu power to do conversion
Hard to tell without further details (e.g. what version of the Plex server are you using, what version of iOS and what version of the Plex app on your iPhone).
When it comes to bandwidth restrictions there’s a number of potential factors that influence your streaming experience…
- the server can limit the available bandwidth for individual streams
- the actual physical available bandwidth
- depending on how many videos are being streamed
- depending on how the streaming communication is handled (e.g. local vs. remote vs. indirect/relayed)
- the client video quality configuration (on your iPhone:
Settings>Quality)
You should see what’s going on w/ regards to #2 on the server dashboard (now playing).

Can you post screen shots on this board?
Can you explain the different settings under quality there is remote streaming, home streaming and music remote streaming.
I think the issue was remote streaming for music was set to 320kbs I changed it to original and things started working again
One more thing still trying to resolve under Movies &Shows on plex on the tv client it works fine but on iPhone client I get audio but video is black do you know what setting would fix that?
