beta updates have lots of things that are updated besides that. they don’t strip everything and/or stop release of a beta just because one aspect might not be the greatest. else nothing would ever be released. Sometimes gotta just let things be and see how folks react to it.
The Roku app has had it for a while and though I’m sure there were some complaints about it often folks on different platforms have different expectations.

They hit Apple TV a while ago. I actually prefer it to the orange triangle nonsense. But that’s just me.

If so, I’m surprised. I think that’s an excellent feature. Much more informative than the corner triangle.

I guess I should say i don’t think the line will go away but there will likely be something else added that is easier to see at a glance. But I don’t think anything is set in stone yet.
The partial progress is great, full progress is… gross.
