Under the sound settings, can you right click to show disabled devices?

No disabled devices…
I tried to do a Legacy Hardware install but no new devices… just a list of the possible tuners associated with the hardware it could detect.
I think I’ll have to wait for feedback from the mfg.
Thanks for the ideas!
Gonna try this…
Hello,
We do not test with nor do we support the use of any of our devices under any version of Windows Server. Windows Server doesn’t offer BDA support out of the box which is necessary for any of our tuners to function.
There are some patches out there to enable this but we’ve never tested them. You can try the fix found here but it is completely unsupported by us and we will not be able to help you with it:

Did this work? I am having issues getting my DualHD tuner to find any channels on Server 2016, and don’t want to rebuild my PLEX VM again on Windows 10!
@Beui69 & @Eds89 , I would strongly consider moving to a “desktop” version of the OS you like the most. Although I enjoy a good root cause analysis every now and again on my Ubuntu Desktop running PMS, its still FULLY supported by PLEX, Hauppauge, and other vendors PLEX has brought on board or will likely bring in. Staying on these WIN Servers I fear will cause you many days of frustration in the days, weeks, months to come and there not FULLY SUPPORTED. Also, since most users wont use server form of WIN, support will be lacking across the board. Just trying to save you both some headaches :). Trust me…been there, there that! Now I enjoy watching PLEX vs trying to get it to work (with all its functionality)
I am going to create a Windows 10 VM and test it, because something that is slightly different for me, is attaching the device to the VM.
All my servers run as hyper-v VMs, and as such, usb pass through isn’t possible.
I have to run usb over IP software on the host, and a client within the VM. This adds another layer of complexity for me, and is making me consider the move back to esxi!
Eds
I have not had a chance to test yet.
Possibly next week.
The desktop platform is not adequate for the demands I put on it or the support for my multi core/processor configuration
I have found adding BDA support to my 2016 server allows some channels to be found, but not all (11 instead of about 70)
Just an update:
I did do the addition of the support files from Win7 to my 2012 server and was successful in scanning for channels.
Thanks to Ray Rodriguez @ Hauppauge for the helpful solution.
Use the link https://marcowuen.wordpress.com/2012/08/13/howto-add-bda-hardware-support-to-windows-server-2008-r2/
Run the batch file from the folder on the Win7 box first. Copy the folder to USB drive. Move the folder to 2012 server. Run the second batch file. Reboot. Use the Settings/Live TV & DVR to scan for channels! (You should have already installed the device and its drivers)
Good luck.
