WinTV-HVR-955Q pulged in to my nvida shield it tell me its there but I don’t pick up any tv stations please help
Are you using an antenna or connecting to an unencrypted cable service?

Has anyone been able to get this to work in a Plex server? I have this tuner connected to my Plex server, but it only seems to be searching for devices on my network? Does it not work with the locally installed tuners?
I am running version 1.10.1.4602 in Windows. Windows sees the Tuner in device manager and the drivers are loaded just fine.
The same thing happens on my Shield.
It recognizes it and scans but no channels. Asks if I have it connected correctly to the antenna.
The 955Q is listed as a supported Plex tuner - but not for the Shield. I would think its a driver issue but who knows.
EXACTLY the same thing happening in Australia for me .I sent noe back to Amazon already. Got the second… and surprise - no channels found. I have it connected to the antenna, Win10 Device Manager says it’s there, driver loaded and working fine…!!!
One little point here, the 955Q is for north american market. It supports QAM/ATSC only and zero DVB. It won’t work in Australia no matter what you do.
The 955Q not working on Shield is a Google issue. The driver is fine, but they’re blacklisting “ISOC” devices now.
