Can't find any channels with hauppauge wintv-quadhd

Currently trying to get Live TV working for the first time. I have installed the latest Plex, and drivers. I have tried 2 antennas. One is a trek hd. And I have just tried with a clearstream HD antenna. Plex and hauppauge say any antenna is supported. I have tried multiple times. I have reloaded my server and removed the wintv 10 app entirely.

I can’t find any channels. My TV in the next room? 50 channels with no antenna to boost the range. I know they are on the air, but I can’t get plex to find them. Is there something I can do differently? Plex Media Server Logs_2021-11-09_21-06-18.zip (2.9 MB)

Note that Plex and WinTV software don’t get along – both want control of the tuners. Try uninstalling the WinTV software, leaving only the QuadHD drivers installed.

Already accomplished.

Tuner does not find channels.

Not a generic QuadHd isssue then as I don’t have any problem scanning channels on my PCIe QuadHD as long as I disable all other DVR software/services.

If you don’t mind me asking, what are you using for your antenna?

I have a DB8 extended range antenna mounted on the chimney.

Before posting here, I just assumed that you would have already installed the WinTV software and scanned channels with it and had it working. If that’s not working, then you really need to try that out first (uninstall the Plex DVR first to ensure the two are not conflicting). If WinTV is working, then the antenna being used is irrelevant since you already know you have a signal.
