there is something very wrong with my service
i can no longer access my service or add media to my plex. now it will only load plex tv with my accout but ive lost total control of my service

You have created an infinite loop.

You placed media in the Plex share.
This is wrong.

I specifically write messages to NOT place media there in 6 languages.

Your error now has Plex locked up by monitoring itself and getting stuck.

  1. Stop Plex
  2. Create proper shared folders to move your media to
  3. Move your media there
  4. Start Plex
  5. Change the folder locations for your libraries.
  6. Please never put media in the Plex share again.

Now go to Control Panel - Shared Folders - EDIT the Plex share - Permissions tab.
Remove yourself from having permission to see the Plex share.

It will avoid the mistake happening again but you can always turn it back on again if you need to manually gather the logs.

After you are done, PLEASE turn off VERBOSE logging. It serves NO purpose here. It’s only making matters worse.
