You have somehow pointed your TV Shows library section in the PlexMediaServer shared folder.

Do not place ANY media in the PlexMediaServer shared folder.
This is where Plex keeps all its internal files (your metadata)

What’s happening is Plex is continuously trying to index itself (which will never end and will cause it to fail)

Create separate shared folder(s) for your media and move them there.

I have /volume1/Movies and /volume1/Series. This is where I store my movies and tv series.

To add to @ChuckPa’s reply, it is better for sharing and uploading/downloading from a PC etc. if you open DSM Control Panel > Shared Folder and create a folder named Media.

Media/
    Movies
    TV Shows
    Music
    Photos
...

Create the other folders using File Station and then move all of your media to the appropriate folder above.

When configuring the folder to use for a library type in Plex, use the appropriate folder above.

For example, for a Movies library, use /volume1/Media/Movies only, for a TV Show library use /volume1/Media/TV Shows only.

When setting folder/file permissions, open File Station on the NAS, right click on the Media folder and select Properties.

On the Permission tab, highlight PlexMediaServer and click on Edit. Make sure all Permissions have been enabled and click on Done.

Then, make sure you select Apply to this folder, sub-folders and files and then click on Save.

It will take some time to complete, depending on how much media you have.

On a Windows PC for example, you can open File Explorer and Map a network drive for the Media folder on your NAS or you can simply type in the UNC address: \\DiskStation\Media and then you will have access to ALL of the media on your NAS.

You can then copy files to/from the NAS with ease.
