Having a hard time getting plex to recognize certain movies

Plex Documentation → Your Media → Naming & Organizing Movie Files

Please show how you have the movies named and organized, including the path and file extension.

  1. Follow Plex naming requirements.

  2. Put each movie in its own folder.

  3. If using the new scanner/agent, add the IMDB or TMDB ID to the folder & file name.

  4. Plex Dance the movie after renaming/reorganizing.
