Running newest Plex Server Beta, Running newest shield client beta on 2019 Pros.
-I am having serious issues with the Plex app crashing my server on launch. It will then relaunch my server so it will die for 1-3 minutes.
-My home screens arent updating or they are saying they cant connect. I have tried rebooting the app, rebooting the shield, reinstalling the app. I can get it to kick in after a few reboots but the main “HOME” screen never works. I can sometimes get the other libraries to work.
-Live tv now freezes when I have it set to transcode.
I have attached my logs from 1 of the devices but I have the same problems on all 3 which are in different houses.
My biggest concern is its actually crashing my server too. Which means it dips out for everyone for a few minutes. I have like 20 people using my server so its super annoying.
Not to sound like captain obvious here but if you have 20 people relying on this setup, why are you running beta code? Surely you must understand that beta code is exactly that, beta. If you are looking for a reliable setup you need to run production code.
Only me and my parents are running beta code on our shields. They need it because there are some changes on the beta they need to fix problems they had. Mostly around live tv. I would much rather have them on stable but the issues the have there are too severe(I get calls every night from them on stable). Beta was fine until the last 2 weeks.
