Since my shields (I have three of them and all have this issue) updated to 7.23.0.12902 beta I have not been able to open Plex on any of them. It opens, mostly loads the home screen and then force closes leaving me at the shield home screen. This started today and I hadn’t upgraded any of my Shields to 8.0.1. They all did it on Shield’s 8.0 update, and they all do it on the new 8.0.1 update. Plex Media Server is on my PC and currently at version 1.18.0.1906 but, this issue happened before I updated from the previous release of Plex Media Server just a little while ago. All up to date on everything and the issue has not changed. The only device it seems to be affecting so far is the Nvidia Shield (my other devices all seemingly work fine). Have tried force closing, clearing cache, restarting shield, updating shield, restarting PMS, updating PMS. Have not cleared all data (just the cache) or uninstalled and re-installed yet. Just kinda wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue since updating to 7.23.0.12902
Yes, I have exactly the same problem (and also only on the Shield).

Just got home from work, updated all 3 shields and they’re all up and running again. Thank You for getting this resolved reasonably quickly!
