Sheild crashing after app update 6.13.0.3362

Fired up Plex on the sheild to find the latest update it crashes when it playing any a movie.

Was working fine 2 days ago but unable to get anything to play after the update today - 26th January.

Fix needed please asap

This is happening for me also.
Same version
For me it is all movies and all TV shows.
Plex has crashed as soon as the video loads
Works fine if you “cast” it to the shield though.

If you can’t wait for them to fix this, opt out of the beta program, wait a few hours then use the “uninstall updates” option for Plex in the play store. Then chose update and it will be rolled back to the last stable version.

Surprised there aren’t more people shouting about this as it’s a complete app breaker.

This is the forum for the server running on Shield. Is it the server crashing or the player?

If it’s the player, you should report it in the beta forum and provide logs there.

EDIT: There is already a thread about that on the beta forum and version 6.13.0.3366 should have fixed that.

Yeah it’s beta so just go into plex player settings and disable new player and submit Logs to help them fix it.

Update to v6.13.0.3366 and your issue will be resolved.
