Having trouble organizing files

Hi i have a file name animes so inside this I have a bunch of anime with their season everything is ok but 1 of them I have 3 seasons on my pc with one in their own folder but plex omit season 3 episodes and put them all inside season 1. idk why and this is making me mad. Anyone can help thanks

Let’s say you have an anime show named Zorg and one named Bullit.
You might have library directories like this:

/Media
/Media/anime
/Media/films
/Media/tv
/Media/music

And your anime would look like this

/Media/anime
/Media/anime/Bullit
/Media/anime/Bullit/Season 01
/Media/anime/Bullit/Season 01/Bullit - s01e01 - pilot.mkv
/Media/anime/Bullit/Season 01/Bullit - s01e02 - twofers.mkv
/Media/anime/Bullit/Season 03
/Media/anime/Bullit/Season 03/Bullit - s03e01 - were.back.mkv
/Media/anime/Bullit/Season 03/Bullit - s03e02 - what.could.go.wrong.mkv
/Media/anime/Zorg
/Media/anime/Zorg/Season 01
/Media/anime/Zorg/Season 01/Zorg - s01e01 - whos.that.zorg.mkv

But you say you’re having problems with Season 03 of Bullit, and need it to get organized in Plex correctly. Well assuming it’s correct on TVDB and it’s correctly named as shown above, and it doesn’t have odd tags on the files, then you can make Plex forget it saw the Bullit series and discover it again like this.

  1. Move the entire /Media/anime/Bullit directory out of where Plex can find it.
  2. In the Plex Web App, Scan Library Files
  3. In the Plex Web App, Empty Trash
  4. In the Plex Web App, Clean Bundles
  5. In the Plex Web App, Optimize Database.
  6. Move the Bullit directory back into /Media/anime
  7. In the Plex Web App, Scan Library Files.

Good luck!
