Thinking of getting a Pi 3 and running rasplex but have a few questions regarding the hd audio tracks ie dts-hd and DD Truehd. Am I right in thinking that these can be converted to LPCM and sent to my av receiver which I believe will then activate the blue light for multi channel PCM? Is this audio then lossless ie no loss in quality compared to say DTS core ?
Correct, DTS-HD is decoded to multichannel (up to 7.1) LPCM, there is a setting in Preferences.

Is DD TrueHD also converted to lpcm? Should I be turning off the options for AC3 and DTS pass through?

Ok but what about DD TrueHD is that also decoded and sent as LPCM? It seems the working that way but wanted to check?
